Who is responsible
ZyroClip is operated by Nathan Benkemoun, who is the data controller for the personal data processed through the service. Contact: contact page.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, login credentials.
- Content: uploaded videos, video links, transcripts, generated clips and their text.
- Usage data: credit history, plan, processing history, support messages.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, security logs.
Purposes and legal basis
- Creating your account and providing the service (transcription, AI analysis, clip rendering) — performance of our contract with you.
- Security, fraud and abuse prevention — our legitimate interests.
- Improving the service and answering support requests — our legitimate interests.
- Product emails or marketing, if any — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Accounting and tax records — legal obligation.
Who we share data with
- Service providers acting on our behalf: hosting and database, transcription, AI analysis and video rendering providers, only for these tasks.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of plans and credits, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities, where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Uploaded source videos are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Exported clips are kept as long as the project exists. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, except records we must keep by law.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, private storage accessible only through expiring links, and per-account access controls.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the service.
Your rights
Depending on your country, you can access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to your data protection authority. Use your settings or contact us; we answer within one month.
